प्रधानमंत्री उर्जा गंगा योजना

पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्री से लोकसभा में जब प्रधानमंत्री उर्जा गंगा योजना के विकास का सवाल किया गया तो उन्होंने केंद्र सरकार का प्रतिनिधित्व करते हुए पेट्रोलियम ऑफ़ प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री उर्जा गंगा योजना के तहत गेल बरौनी-गुवाहाटी पाइपलाइन (बीजीपीएल) और धामरा-हल्दिया तक स्पर लाइन के विस्तार सहित जगदीशपुर-हल्दिया-बोकारो-धामरा पाइपलाइन का कार्यान्वयन हो रहा है। अगले सवाल का जवाब देते हुए उन्होंने कहा की अब तक कुल 55,200 परिवार को पाइप्ड प्राकृतिक गैस से जोड़ दिया गया है।

Will the Minister of PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS be pleased to state:-

(a) the progress of the PradhanMantriUrja Ganga scheme in Odisha;

(b) the number of kilometres of pipe line laid so far, district-wise;

(c) the cities which will have the facility of piped natural gas for domestic use and the time by which they will get; and

(d) the number of households connected through piped natural gas so far?

(a) GAIL is executing Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra Pipeline (JHBDPL) with extension of Barauni-Guwahati Pipeline (BGPL) and spur line to Dhamra-Haldia (DHPL) as part of PradhanMantriUrja Ganga Project (PMUG) to connect the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha and Assam. GAIL has informed that out of about 2,655 km of pipeline, approximately 1,401 km has been lowered as of now, and 766 km pipeline crosses through the state of Odisha of which approximately 196 km has been lowered as on 8.09.2020.
