प्रधानमंत्री किसान योजना का विस्तार
लोकसभा के सत्र के दौरान पूछे गए सवाल का जवाब देते हुए कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण मंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि योजना के तहत महिलाओं सहित भू-जोत धारक किसान परिवार इस योजना के लिए पात्र हैं. चूँकि योजना के तहत पात्रता के लिए भू-जोत आधारभूत मापदंड है. अतः किरायेदार किसान इस योजना के लिए पात्र नहीं हैं.

Extension of PM-KISAN Scheme

Will the Minister of AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE be pleased to state:-
(a) whether the Government has taken any steps to ensure benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme to tenant farmers and women farmers without any land holdings;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (c): Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Yojana, all land-holding farmer-families, including women, are eligible to derive the benefits of the Scheme, subject to certain exclusion criteria relating to higher income category. Since land holding is the basic criterion for eligibility under the Scheme, the tenant farmers are not eligible for the benefits under the Scheme.
