Increased Package Rates Under Ayushman Bharat
Government stated in Loksabha that the National Health Authority (NHA) has launched a new version of Health Benefit Packages (HBPs) 2022 under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri – Jan Arogya Yojana on 06th April, 2022. HBPs 2022 consist of 1,949 procedures including secondary, tertiary and palliative care across 27 specialties. The rates for 832 procedures are increased. States/UTs have the flexibility to modify HBP 2022 rates as per their local requirements.

(a) whether the Government has proposed to increase cost of medical treatment packages under Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme;
(b) if so, the details thereof; and
(c) the details of procedures/packages offered under Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme?
